Mark Pfister is the founder of Pfister Financial Services, bringing nearly four decades of experience in financial advisory services. Since establishing his practice in March 1988, Mark has dedicated his career to making a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals, families, and businesses through comprehensive financial guidance.
After a season of coaching college football, Mark found his true calling in financial services, where he could combine his passion for teaching with his desire to positively influence people’s lives. Throughout his career, he has built strong partnerships with leading experts across various financial disciplines, enabling him to offer clients access to sophisticated expertise and innovative solutions.
Mark’s approach to client relationships is founded on earned trust and understanding. He believes in taking the time to truly know his clients—their motivations, aspirations, and what matters most to them. His commitment to delivering on promises and providing clear, thorough explanations of complex financial strategies has earned him the loyalty of long-term clients.
A man of faith and family, Mark has been married to his wife for over 30 years and is a proud father of two married sons. Known as “Pa” to his seven grandchildren, he treasures his role as a family man. When not serving clients, Mark can be found working out, enjoying outdoor activities like fishing and hunting, or listening to classic rock and roll.
Mark’s dedication to making a positive, lasting impact extends beyond his professional life to his faith, family, and community, driven by his desire to leave the world better than he found it.
Jerry Tsai joined Pfister Financial Services in October 2024, bringing with him a rich background in education and technology entrepreneurship. After helping to build and sell a software company from the ground up, he was led to a career in financial services by his dedication to helping others achieve their goals. His partnership with Mark began through a shared faith community and blossomed as they discovered their aligned vision of values-based financial planning.
Jerry’s professional philosophy centers on creating generational impact and meaningful legacies for his clients. Jerry specializes in helping business owners optimize their financial resources, with particular expertise in tax-efficient strategies that align with their goals and values.
As a guide, advocate, and confidant to his clients, Jerry prioritizes building strong, lasting relationships over transactions. His approach reflects his commitment to always putting clients’ best interests first, ensuring that every recommendation and strategy serves their long-term objectives.
A lifelong learner, Jerry embraced a personal “Decade of Learning” challenge in his thirties, acquiring diverse skills ranging from Mandarin Chinese to scuba diving, and from improv to drums. His leadership qualities emerged early in his university years at the University of Cincinnati, where he served as Student Body President and was crowned Homecoming King.
Jerry shares his life with his wife Kathryn, their daughter Sophie, and their beloved retriever-mix, Kya. When not serving clients, he can be found on the golf course or enjoying quality time with family and friends.
At Pfister Financial Services, Jerry combines his entrepreneurial experience, dedication to continuous learning, and passion for helping others to create comprehensive financial strategies that empower clients to achieve their dreams while building lasting legacies.
